Tucson Offroad club is organizing a cleanup of the Chiva Falls Trail east of Tucson. Copper State Cruisers also seem to have jumped on this, should be a great time! This is a really great trail, a fun mix of wheeling from mild to wild. Unfortunately it's also an epicenter of trash and other nonsense.

You can meet at the Circle K station at Tanque Verde and Rebecca, Tucson at 8:30 or just come out whenever! (Google Map Link)

Afterwards, at least a few of us will be camping at Chimney Rock. In the morning on Sunday we will run Alamo Springs and the rest of the Chinmey Rock loop.
Thread about the Sunday morning run...

More info on the cleanup: thread over on IH8MUD.

Cool! That was a really fun trip we all did last year... I'm only going to be able to sort of half participate in the cleanup. My brother is coming into town from Chicago and we've got tickets to a White Sox game at 1:05... so it might just be a morning gig for me, who knows.

But hopefully some others can make it! Very Happy

Damn! I don't think I'll be able to make the cleanup because my brother is coming in from Chicago and we're gonna hit a spring training game around lunch... but I might come out and camp with you guys!

Let's figure something out...

Jake - Wes and I have an evil plan of attempting every possible line and obstacle at Chiva in an attempt to destroy ourselves.

I wanna do the chute at 3 Feathers! Up and down, bitches!

I'm down with Chimney if we do it in the morning... I've never run it from the far end back!

Problem with doing Chimney is that you HAVE to do Alamo while you're there....

I'm afraid a burnt and shot up car will leap up from next to the trail and crush us as we pass....
