A few us will be camping saturday night at Chimney Rock east of Tucson. In the morning we plan to run the rest of the loop including Alamo Springs.
Both Chimney Rock loop and Alamo Springs will cause EXTREME pinstriping to your rig. Expect to be scratched. The worst of it is Alamo, and especially towards the end. You could easily park your rig for the last 1/4 of the trail if it's of tremendous concern and avoid the worst of it.
MEET: "Chimney Rock" on the Chimney Rock Loop
TIME: Anytime in the morning, I expect we'll be leaving camp by 10:00

Well it ended up being TrAiLbUs1, TrAiLbUstY1, microbe and myself for this one. Friggin great time out there! The camping was fun, we had a really cool campsite next to a rock wall with a big over hanging rock thing... this trip also confirmed a suspicion of mine, namely that TrAiLbUs1 + tibaal89 + campfire = complete insanity.
We went on to do Chimney Rock loop including the ever awesome Alamo Springs. microbe has now etched his name onto the very short list of people who have done this trail in a non-lifted FJ.
Some pics...
Stock flex baby!!
whoooa there...
microbe broke his nipple. my hope is that this event till cause an endless spree of nipple jokes.
TrAiLbUs1 comes down the hill near the end...
microbe in the wild... (photo taken from detour in Africa)
rock!
The famous flipped over and burnt up Cherokee of Alamo Springs...
microbe about to descend to his doom...
wheelstand!
Jake on Chimney Rock loop...

Nice pics mIke what a great time, man I was ready to hit a couple other trails on the way out LOL!! Eric did a great job, after this he has some experience to brag about. Alamo was awesome thank you Mike for leading us up that madness. Camping was great, holy crap I haven't laughed that hard in quite some time.
So watch out folks I rip nips like nada LOL!! The 08' offroad package rims suck, they are indented so rocks can get right to the nipple, and besides that the low pressure nipples are stiff as a rock which makes them very susceptible to damage. Sorry eric about the damage, but you joined the alamo crew (ones with damage) Mike Wes and myself. Cant wait for the next trip, we have lots of video and photos we will try to post tonight if time permits. All I can say is awesome awesome awesome!!

Oh yea, not Bulldog.... Bull Springs!!!!
Dude, what's the matter - the water is ONLY six feet deep before you have to climb up an impossible feild of boulders and canyon walls... Come on man, where's the sense of adventure!!
